2014 Nissan GT-R in showrooms this January!
The 2014 Nissan GT-R is bound to make waves in Canada when it lands in showrooms this January. Competing against supercars that cost more than twice as much, the new GT-R boasts a lighter 3.8L twin-turbo V6 engine that produces 545 horsepower and 463 lb-ft of torque while burning less fuel than the outgoing model -- 12.9L/100km in the city and 9.2L/100km on the highway.
Inside, look for a cockpit-style instrument panel that surrounds the driver to minimize head movement, and a red-accented steering wheel in the Black Edition that provides a sportier appearance.
The biggest interior change for the 2014 Nissan GT-R is a new optional Premium Interior Package with exclusive Red Amber semi-aniline leather appointments with hand-stitching on the front seats, along with Red Amber accents on the instrument panel, steering wheel, door trim, armrests, and shift knob.
The large, metallic-framed centre console features an ergonomically designed shift lever and a red "engine start" button. Moreover, carbon fibre accents are available on all models.
The 2014 Nissan GT-R will go on sale at select dealerships across the country. Pricing will be announced at a later date.
