There are 7 model options, most with two engine choices. Your engine choices are the 1.3 L MultiAir I-4 DI turbo engine with Start/Stop or the 2.4 L MultiAir I-4 Zero Evaporation engine. Let’s take a closer look at the engines. The 1.3 L MultiAir I-4 DI turbo engine with Start/Stop boasts 177 horsepower and 200 lb-ft of torque for excellent power and efficiency. In terms of fuel economy, you’re getting a combined 9.2 L /100 km. With the 2.4 L MultiAir I-4 Zero Evaporation engine, you’ll get next-level power with 180 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque and a combined fuel economy rating of 9.9 L /100km. In terms of capability, the Jeep Renegade can tow up to 907 kg with the available Class-Exclusive Trailer Tow Group that comes with a Class III receiver hitch and 4-pin wiring harness. Of course, there is also the legendary Jeep 4×4 capabilities that are exclusive to the Jeep lineup. Jeep Active Drive delivers traction the moment you need it and switches from 4WD to FWD and back seamlessly. The Jeep Active Drive Low 4×4 system is exclusive to the Trailhawk model and gets you a crawl ratio of 21:1 for the ultimate control on uneven or rocky terrain. Both of these 4×4 systems feature a Class-Exclusive rear-axle disconnect to send power only to the front wheels when 4×4 traction is needed.
